The Bride
Liuyin ‘Lena’ Song
Born in China, Lena grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, before moving to Minneapolis, MN, to be an Inventory Planner at Target corporation. She met David for their first date at Tiger Sushi in uptown, and then later moved to SF to continue her career, ultimately settling in Oakland.
The Groom
David Szarzynski
David grew up in Hopkins, Minnesota, then lived in Athens, Greece, and New York, NY, before returning to Minnesota to go to law school at the University of Minnesota. While there, he met Lena and changed the course of his life. Afterwards he moved out to San Francisco to join Lena, before both of them moved to Oakland, CA, where they both still live, with their kitty Dumpling (#DumplingtheCalico)
